Using WebSphere Studio

AUDIENCE:
Developers and other technical professionals that will be designing, developing and implementing interactive Websites using HTML, Java Applets, servlets and JavaBeans.

DURATION: 4 Days

COURSE ABSTRACT:
This course utilizes a combination of instructor-led discussions and interactive workshops to demonstrate the capabilities of IBM’s WebSphere Studio tool for deploying websites that incorporate interactive dynamic content provided Java applications. Each student will gain exposure to the tool and its complementary products; Websphere Page Designer and Applet Designer as they design, construct and implement a fictional website that involves servlets, applets, Java Server Pages (JSP), JavaScript and JavaBeans.

PREREQUISITES:
Each student should have a basic understanding of the WWW and the role of HTML with experience writing HTML applications. Additionally, experience with Java applets and relational databases is helpful.
